“I am a chef, artist, outdoor enthusiast. I am passionate about telling authentic culinary stories and educating people about the powerful influence their food has on their lives from more than just a dietary level. I appreciate the natural state of things and strive to maintain that ideal both in and out of the kitchen.

I believe whole heartedly in the power of influence through food, art, nature and the human connection.

The further into my chef career I progressed, the more I began to realize what a unique position a chef has. In many cases, we are the last person to seal the deal on a meal. That’s a huge responsibility. That’s big! When I realized this and as I grew I began to shift my perspective.

Growing my own food has been a process that has empowered me, and allowed me to prepare honest food. I don’t question where it came from, I know because I’ve grown it. We have the power to influence each individual and each community through the stories we choose to tell and with the food we eat.

The illusion that we are separate from nature dissolves when we choose to work with nature, rather than against it.”
